SUN (Student Union of Naropa)
SUN is and can be many things. We are definitely party planners and here to help make sure that the fun stuff happens. We are also a confidential and safe space to bring forward controversial but necessary conversations between students and other students or students and the administration. We can highlight significant issues and advocate for student concerns at Naropa Board meetings and administrative meetings, and we can ‘fill in the gaps’ with short-term solutions to your everyday challenges, while the slower-moving institution finds a way of responding to the concerns we raise.
We are your advocates and your representatives. We are here to broadcast the collective student voice and take action on its behalf. We are here to help you make the connections that you need, find the resources and information, and hutzpah required to actualize your vision of student life.
