Naropa University Climate Action Fund

Naropa University believes in a future where community leaders help stabilize climate chaos by generating and expanding clean, renewable energy. In order to continue pivoting toward that vision, we have created the Naropa University Climate Action Fund. Naropa uses these funds to purchase third-party-verified Renewable Energy Credits (RECs) and carbon offsets that affirm our commitment to climate neutrality by supporting the expansion of clean wind energy and balancing our greenhouse gas emissions. Colleges and universities must exercise leadership by providing the research, practice, and informed graduates that help orient society towards a sustainable, healthy, and more prosperous future. This fund helps Naropa take tangible actions that lead that effort.

Naropa Extended Campus Scholarship

Anchored in mindfulness and compassion practices, Naropa’s Extended Campus nurtures the openness and equanimity that arise from authentic insight and self-understanding. The Naropa Extended Campus Scholarship will provide scholarship support to enable students to discover new passions and gain new skills as they prepare to become mindful leaders with the knowledge, wisdom and skills they need to “be the change” in their workplaces and communities. The purpose of this scholarship is to provide financial support to assist those students who further the University’s diversity mission with particular attention to, but not limited to, underrepresented student populations, including people of color and other minority populations.

Naropa Community Counseling Graduate Intern Scholarship Fund

The Naropa Community Counseling Graduate Intern Scholarship Fund provides financial support to assist students in the Graduate School of Counseling and Psychology who also serve as interns in the Naropa Community Counseling Center. NCC graduate interns gain experiential learning opportunities by providing individual and group services to clients, as well as cultivate an understanding of the relationship between their specific counseling modality and other therapeutic disciplines practiced in various settings.
