About the Workshop Sponsors and Partnership
To support trauma-informed living and leadership in individuals and organizations, the Pocket Project helps to address and integrate individual, ancestral and collective trauma. We aim to heal the wounds from the past, thus shifting humanity towards a path of creativity, effective collaboration and innovation.
For more than 25 years, the University of Colorado’s Center for the Study and Prevention of Violence (CSPV) has studied and implemented programs to prevent violence in schools and communities across Colorado, the U.S., and abroad. CSPV prevents violence and promotes healthy development by partnering with decision-makers and stakeholders to strategically integrate the best available research into practice.
Naropa University is North America’s leading institution of contemplative education. Naropa University’s division of Mission, Culture and Inclusive Community lead the charge of Naropa’s violence prevention work. This work includes an emphasis on compassionate engagement with an evolving world that integrates justice, equity, diversity and inclusion into all community engagement efforts.
