Naropa University believes in a future where community leaders help stabilize climate chaos by generating and expanding clean, renewable energy. In order to continue pivoting toward that vision, we have created the Naropa University Climate Action Fund. Naropa uses these funds to purchase third-party-verified Renewable Energy Credits (RECs) and carbon offsets that affirm our commitment to climate neutrality by supporting the expansion of clean wind energy and balancing our greenhouse gas emissions. Colleges and universities must exercise leadership by providing the research, practice, and informed graduates that help orient society towards a sustainable, healthy, and more prosperous future. This fund helps Naropa take tangible actions that lead that effort.
